A transport plane has crashed in a residential area of Congo-Brazzaville's economic capital, Pointe-Noire.
It is not clear if there are any casualties but residents saw ambulances heading to the area.
Civil aviation head Michel Ambende said the plane had crashed on landing.
"There is a lot of damage but we are not talking about dead yet," he said, according to the AFP news agency.
