JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Jakarta Police Chief Inspector General Sutarman said growth in consumer spending in the automotive sector in Jakarta have a positive impact and will affect traffic.

"Growth is now so large automotive and it's impact on the Mother City," said Sutarman at an event in the East Parking Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday (04/14/2011).

Sutarman argues, the problem is the impact of automotive growth is congestion. "Postifnya is economic growth, but also have an impact on traffic in the capital," said Sutarman.

According Sutarman, this problem becomes the task of the Directorate of Traffic and needs to be given a thumbs up for performance Ditlantas. "Therefore, we need to Ditlantas acungi thumb that works to overcome this problem," he said.
