JAKARTA. Daewoo Engineering & Construction Co.. won the tender for the construction of hydroelectric power (hydropower) capacity of 60 megawatts (MW) from State Electricity Company (PLN) 's worth Rp 2.5 trillion.
"Hydropower is to be built in North Sumatra," said Dahlan Iskan Director of PT PLN Persero, today (12 / 4).
In addition, Hyundai and Housing Development PT PLN also obtain the tender the construction of another hydropower with a capacity of 89 mw PLN located in Aceh. The target, the construction of both power plants will be completed by 2013.
