KOBE, Kompas.com - Mexican boxer, Johnny Gonzalez beat down his opponent from Japan Hozumi Hasegawa for the WBC featherweight champion, on Friday.
Gonzalez launched a hard right hook that makes the referee had stopped the fight in round four by giving the TKO victory for Gonzalez.
In the initial round, Hasegawa Gonzalez had trouble with a blow to the face these opponents.
With this result, Gonzalez who is a boxer ranked number one in the WBC, noting the results of 48 victories with 42 knockouts with 7 defeats.
This is the first fight to retain the title for Hasegawa after captured it from the Mexican boxer, Juan Carlos Burgos November last year. He recorded 29 wins with 12 knockouts and 4 defeats.
