Why does Bush think he can make Iraq into a democracy when it was a dictatorship only a few years ago?

Does he think he can actually make it like the U.S. is? And make everyone there abide laws, vote and have peace? Some Iraqis want this but many do not and it shows because they are not working quickly enough to form an organized government. Does Bush think he can eliminate every terrorist in the middle east? It just seems very unrealistic. I mean it is not that I do not support the troops but look at the facts. There are MILLIONS of terrorists and now Iraq has become a breeding ground for more of them. We may not be able to stop this generation completely but we can stop the next ones by teaching them that killing is not okay. Those kids seeing us destroy their country is not making them like us any more. And meanwhile our borders are sitting wide open and Bin Laden is still out there…I do not get this administration who would fight terrorism halfway around the world but practically putting up “welcome terrorists and illegal aliens” signs around our country.

Germany and Japan were different.

But why is it OUR responsibility to make Iraq a democracy? If they do not want to then we cannot force them to.

Jeff could you answer the question instead of bashing me?
