2011 Latest Wedding Mehndi Designs

Tulle is tops for next year’s bridal gowns. Whether it is a classic ballgown with a full tulle skirt (much softer for spring than a shiny satin) or a couple of layers of tulle layered over another fabric, this ballet inspired fabric is a key trend for spring 2011. The full skirted tulle ballgowns generally followed a 1950s line: strapless, natural waist, and flouncy tulle skirt. The shiny satin ballgown with the dropped waist which has been so ubiquitous in recent years is taking a break for spring. When designers did use a fabric with sheen, a couple layers of tulle were often draped over it to soften the effect. 2011 Latest Wedding Mehndi Designs Black accents on bridal gowns were a big trend for 2010, and this one is still going strong for 2011. Most of the black details were at the waist – perfect for emphasizing a slim waist or visually slimming a fuller middle. Wide black lace panels around the mid-section, black ribbon sashes tied at the natural waist, or a flirty black fabric waist corsage were all popular embellishments. There was even an all black wedding gown seen walking down the runway at one designer’s Spring 2011 showing (honestly, it looked a bit too much like a widow’s wedding gown for my taste!). No longer so shocking, a black accent on a white gown can be just the thing to complement a groom in a debonair tuxedo.
