A Transjakarta bus hit a woman, killing her, in front of the Royal Taruma Hospital, Grogol, West Jakarta, on Saturday.
The woman was identified as 51-year old Corina, a resident of Jelambar, West Jakarta.
[Corina] was crossing from a catholic school nearby to the Royal Hospital… Jakarta Police chief for road accidents, Unit Comr. Herman Ruswandi, said, as quoted by Tempointeraktif.com.
A 25-year old man also died in the same vicinity two weeks ago after being hit by a bus, he said.
The bus driver is currently being detained at the Jakarta Police Headquarters.
