Wrong place stolen bikes

Maran - Criminals have stolen motorcycle gang called the Pyramid of the active a year ago when they mistakenly cut off the last step in the neighborhood to steal a police motorcycle in Temerloh recently.

Maran district police chief, Deputy Superintendent Shahabuddin Ahmad Johari said the arrest of nine members of the group was believed to settle 18 cases of motorcycle theft reported in Pahang and Selangor over the past year.

The capture of the suspects began with the arrest of four gang members on January 8 Pyramid after they steal a police motorcycle in a residential area in Temerloh.

"The capture of four members of the band members are each 18 years, including their leader led to the arrest of five other suspects, aged 17 to 26 years in this area," he said at a press conference here yesterday.

According to Ahmad Johari, a police team to get information about the theft of a motorcycle in the Police Staff Housing Temerloh Jaya have led to the arrest of four suspects in at 11 pm on 8 January.

Police arrested five more men in this area in the operation which started from January 8 to January 12.

"The suspect, the suspect then showed the location where they throw the bike is stolen in the chamber near Kampung Tasik Bukit Sentosa, near here," he said.
