'No entry' New Dimensions of Local Films

KUALA LUMPUR: The latest horror movies and scary, No Entry (DM) showed a new dimension in local film production.

Not only the brave risked four new faces as the main actor, but he also became the first film in the Asia-recorded using a digital camera a single lens reflect (DSLR).

"I want the audience to enjoy the play is presented through the characters and not as a name or their popularity," he said, which took over a year and a half to make the process of selecting eight actors through the audition stage.

Talked about the use of Canon EOS 5D DSLR Mark II during the filming of it, Jeffrey said, working with popular camera manufacturers that established the basis for further developing the film making process of the country.

Being the first film to use the technology in the region, the DM will take only 16 days of filming was recorded using two digital camera units.

"Film is own history through the use of digital cameras. Not only does it facilitate the process of filming because of the small size and light weight, but the price is also very capable than other cameras used to film.

"The quality of the resulting film is also very impressive. Since we use two cameras simultaneously in most scenes, the filming is smooth and shorter than normal duration," he said.

Commenting on the narrative DM, Jeffrey said, elements of horror and horror films that lifted the subjects did not mingle religious sentiments or beliefs of certain traditions like many other horror films.
