Why Are So Many People Against Using Natural Remedies?

Everytime someone tries to suggest using natural remedies they get labeled a quack. Take Kevin Trudeau as an example. I read his book and I must say that he is telling the truth, cause I've not only read it in his book, but other books that encourage the use of natural remedies say the same thing, so he isn't lying. Everybody who encourages the use of natural remedies cannot be a quack.

A woman at a forum that I am a member of online said she was going to see a naturopath, and a lot of people tried to make her feel bad about it. However, she went anyway and she said she had a very good experience, and was confident she was going to finally get the much needed help that she wanted. In that conversation I posted,'Why are so many people against using natural remedies?' This woman went on how to say that pharmaceutical drugs have to go through so many tests and clinical trials to make sure the drugs were okay to take. She also went on to say that drug interactions can collide with natural supplements. I don't agree that pharmaceutical drugs be doing so many clinical trials, because if they did people wouldn't be dying so much from taking them, and the side effects are horrible. However, I do believe that if you are on medication you should consult your doctor of all the medications so that if you would like to start using natural remedies they won't collide and interfere with your health. She went on to say that she would rather take pharmaceutical drugs, because she at least she knows what she is getting and she didn't care about the side effects. So, I guess if she only went to the doctor having a mild cold and she came out having a heart attack she would be okay with it. That makes no sense to me whatsoever. She went on to say you couldn't find any information about natural remedies. I told her that was completely untrue. People have been taking natural remedies since ancient times, and from all over the world too.

With prescription drugs they are only treating the symptom, and they are not getting to the root of the problem, and that is why a person is having that symptom in the first place. Doctors aren't being taught anything about nutrition. If they can't fix you with surgery and drugs in their eyes you can't be fixed. So, that's all patients expect is being prescribed drugs, because they believe that is the only way that they can be treated. I really believe that a lot of people don't believe that they can be healed only pacified. People believe that when they get to the age of fifty they are destined to be taking prescription pills for the rest of their life. It's just a part of life they think. Who really wants to live like that? I don't know about you, but I definitely don't.

With all the health problems people are getting in America such as: diabetes, cancer, ibs, crohn's diesase, congestive heart failure, heart attacks, arthritis, fibromyalgia, high blood pressure, alzheimer's, eczema, nail fungus, etc. Many of us have people in our families that are suffering from these conditions. It could be our eating habits. If we don't change we too could be facing these same health problems. It's obvious that something is seriously wrong with the way we are doing things healthwise. Don't you believe it's time for a different approach?

If what you are doing is not working (taking prescription drugs and eating unhealthy) why not try something else? I guess people don't even think about it because the media always makes anything natural look bad. Who cares what the media says? It's time to start thinking for yourself. Unless, you've tried a different approach you can't really say if it works or not can you? I'm not talking about just changing for 2 days and being disappointed if you are not seeing any results. It takes a little longer than that to see results. So, what's your excuse? Why are you against using natural remedies? Why haven't you tried a different approach? I would really like to hear your comments. Leave them below. Please don't be rude.
